Tyreek Hill's First Post After Odell Beckham Jr. News Turned Heads
Just minutes after news of Odell Beckham Jr.'s exit from the Miami Dolphins dropped, Tyreek Hill shared a post talking about opportunity.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero on Friday, Beckham and the Dolphins have "mutually agreed to part ways" as the veteran wide receiver hopes to get "more opportunities elsewhere."
Beckham struggled with the Dolphins and was never really able to find his role, making just nine catches on 18 targets for 55 yards. In the nine games he played for the team, he never had more than three receptions in a contest.
Interestingly, as the whole NFL talked about Beckham's sudden exit, Hill shared an interesting post that had a number of fans convinced that he's taking a shot at his now-former Dolphins teammate — though it's not clear if that was Hill's intent.
"Take advantage of your opportunity," Hill wrote on X.
In the reply section of Tyreek Hill's post, several fans and followers shared their thoughts on his message.
"Imma at @obj for you," a commenter wrote. Another one claimed, "Shot at Odell."
"Divas like diva opportunities not football opportunity," a social media user chimed in.
A poster further stated, "Bro this is a shot at Odell and nobody is going to tell me differently."
"Right after OBJ got cut," an intrigued fan added along with an emoji showing a face with a raised eyebrow, suspecting that it's a shot at Beckham.
"Is that what you told Odell," a sixth fan asked.
Another one wrote, "You hear that, O’dell?!"
While it's unclear what (or who) Hill was referring to in his post, the timing of his message certainly stirred up some drama. That being said, it's hard to blame fans for assuming that it's about Odell Beckham Jr.
It remains to be seen if Hill will ever address and clarify his latest message. Nonetheless, with a Dolphins game against the Houston Texans set for Sunday, it won't be a surprise if he gets asked about it.
