Micah Parsons put on a show Sunday night, albeit in a 19-3 Cowboys loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the second-year edge rusher was the focal point of a viral video displaying a chip block by Leonard Fournette that landed Parsons on his butt during the game.
Parsons has seen the video and wants to share his thoughts on the situation. The former Penn State star thinks it's completely ridiculous Fournette's block on him went viral.
In fact, Parsons even calls Fournette a p—y for taking a cheap shot while Parsons was engaged with a Bucs offensive lineman.
"Now go watch the tape! And see what [happened] when it was me and him one on one!!! You hit someone not looking you straight pus**y !! Stop hyping this weak as* shit it’s football!!" said Parsons.
Wow. Talk about not holding anything back. Micah Parsons isn't alone, though.
Von Miller thinks chip blocks from running backs should be a penalty.
"This block must be taken out the game ! This is the future and we are just letting the offense tee off on our marquee pass rushers! You can get the job done without this much contact!," said Miller.
It's a bit surprising to see defensive players complain about tough blocks. It's football, right?
With that being said, perhaps the NFL should look into the impact chip blocks have on players.
