How the Patriots could line up for the 2022 season.
The New England Patriots' playoff drought didn't last long, as rookie quarterback Mac Jones took the reigns and helped the team earn a wild-card berth. What followed was a 30-point drubbing in the Wild Card Round on the road against Buffalo, but the bigger takeaway from the 2021 season is that it appears the Patriots have their quarterback of the present and future in Jones. There's still plenty of room for growth for Jones, and the roster underwent a makeover in the offseason. The Bills are clearly the team to beat in the AFC East, but as long as Bill Belichick is calling the shots, it's never a good idea to rule out the Patriots from making the playoffs.
