The New Orleans Saints will be shorthanded yet again when they open Week 7 on Thursday Night Football.

The Saints announced Wednesday that five players have already been ruled out for their matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

The list includes a pair of wide receivers in Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry as well as starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

Offensive lineman Andrus Peat and tight end Adam Trautman have also been ruled out for the contest.

This will mark the fourth game in a row that Thomas will miss due to a foot injury and the third straight absence for Landry, who has a hurt ankle. Lattimore, the team's top corner, will miss a second game in a row with an abdomen injury.

The one injury situation the Saints didn't address Wednesday is quarterback.

Jameis Winston has missed each of the team's past two games with back and ankle injuries. Andy Dalton has started in his absence and performed solidly, but he injured his back during a loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Head coach Dennis Allen said the team will wait until Thursday to determine which player will start behind center.
