The New York Giants are busy making several roster decisions this Friday morning. Two of those roster decisions have resulted in the release of two players: wide receiver Keelan Doss and defensive tackle Christian Hinton.
The release of Doss and Hinton has given the Giants two open roster spots to utilize. The NFC East organization has already filled them.
The Giants are reportedly signing offensive linemen Josh Rivas and Chris Owens. Rivas was cut by the team last week, but is now getting another opportunity.
"The Giants held a workout for offensive linemen this morning at 7AM. They re-signed Josh Rivas, whom they had [cut] last week, and Chris Owens. The waived WR Keelan Doss and DT Christopher Hinton," said Patricia Traina.
A number of roster moves by the Giants as they attempt to find their final roster ahead of the 2022 season. New York takes on the Bengals in its second preseason game of 2022 this Saturday.
