NFL Analyst Names Surprising Potential Landing Spot For Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr., Los Angeles Rams

As Odell Beckham Jr. continues to get closer to making his return to the NFL, a handful of teams have been brought up constantly as potential destinations — most often the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills.

But NFL insider Mike Florio has identified a dark horse to keep an eye on.

On his Pro Football Talk website, Florio mentioned the Minnesota Vikings as a potential destination for Beckham, who is currently a free agent as he continues to recover from a torn ACL suffered during the Super Bowl.

Beckham should pretty much have his choice of landing spots. And while the Vikings are off to a 5-1 start to the season, they're not often talked about as one of the four or five Super Bowl favorites — unlike the Bills or Rams or Kansas City Chiefs.

That said, the Vikings have an obvious connection with Beckham in the form of head coach Kevin O'Connell. O'Connell was the Rams' offensive coordinator last season when Beckham arrived from the Cleveland Browns and helped lead the team to its Super Bowl win.

Florio also pointed out that the Vikings could use another wideout to draw some coverage away from fellow LSU alum Justin Jefferson. And signing Beckham could also be a defensive move, keeping him from teaming up with another NFC contender like the Rams, Green Bay Packers or Dallas Cowboys.

Beckham is reportedly targeting a mid-November return to action, so we likely have a few more weeks of speculation ahead of us as to where he'll play this season.
