Those who play fantasy football are generally in one of two camps when it comes to bye weeks. They either love them for the opportunity to think strategically or they loathe them and view them as nothing more than an annoying nuisance. Regardless of which camp you fall into, bye weeks aren't going away anytime soon.
While it probably has nothing whatsoever to do with fantasy, the NFL has spread the teams out during the bye week stretch (Weeks 4-12) even more compared to last year. There's only one week (Week 10) with six teams on bye, five different weeks featuring four each, and three with two teams taking a breather.
So love them or loathe them at least fantasy owners can now start preparing for the bye weeks... or just continue to ignore them altogether.
