NFL Games on TV Today
Houston at Detroit, 12:30 p.m. on CBS
These two teams are well out of the playoff hunt in their respective conference, but that doesn't mean this game isn't worth watching. Houston (3-7) has played better under interim head coach Romeo Crennel, and the Texans feature one of the league's most dynamic quarterbacks in Deshaun Watson. For Detroit (4-6), Matthew Stafford recently became the fastest to reach 40,000 career passing yards (147 games) and he has a chance to even his record as the Lions' quarterback on Thanksgiving. That's nothing to sneeze out given the franchise's holiday history at the position.
Washington at Dallas, 4:30 p.m. on FOX
Yes, both teams are 3-7 and firmly in the mix for a high draft pick next year, but the winner of this game will leave AT&T Stadium in first place in the NFC East. Scoff all you want at this division, someone has to win it, which makes this a huge matchup of longtime rivals. This will be the 10th meeting between traditional host Dallas and Washington on Thanksgiving, with the Cowboys holding a commanding 8-1 lead.
