The 2019 NFL season marches on with a full slate of Week 3 games on Sunday, Sept. 22. Injuries are certainly making their presence felt in the early going, especially at the quarterback position.

New Orleans and Pittsburgh are set to move on without injured starters Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger, while the Giants, Jets, and Panthers also will have a new signal-caller on the field. The Giants have decided to bench Eli Manning, which means first-round pick Daniel Jones gets his shot, while the Jets are starting former practice squad member Luke Falk with Sam Darnold still recovering from mono and backup Trevor Siemian out for the season after injuring his ankle in Monday night's loss to Cleveland. Cam Newton also will miss Sunday's game because of an injury, meaning Kyle Allen will make just his second career start.

But don't worry, plenty of high-caliber quarterbacks are still playing, including the eagerly anticipated head-to-head matchup between Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes.

So if you're wondering "What NFL games are on today?" know this: There are 14 scheduled for today, Sunday, Sept. 22.

Note: Games are ordered by start time. All times are ET.

NFL Games on TV Today

Cincinnati at Buffalo, 1 p.m. on CBS

After playing Seattle tough on the road, Cincinnati got blown out at home by San Francisco last week. Buffalo is 2-0 with wins over the Jets and Giants. How will the Bills do at home against a team that's not from New York (or New Jersey if you want to get technical)?

Miami at Dallas, 1 p.m. on FOX

The Dolphins have been outscored 102-10 in the early going. The Cowboys have won both of their games by double digits. Does anymore really need to be said?

Denver at Green Bay, 1 p.m. on FOX

The Broncos are coming off of a tough, last-second loss at home to the Bears and have to try and rebound on the road against a Packers team whose defense has outplayed Aaron Rodgers and company in the early going.

Atlanta at Indianapolis, 1 p.m. on CBS

The Falcons are flying high after Sunday night's come-from-behind victory over the Eagles but the bugaboo for this team in recent seasons as been winning on the road. The Colts did just that last week, beating the Titans in Nashville, but need more consistency from Jacoby Brissett and the offense.

Baltimore at Kansas City, 1 p.m. on CBS

The game of the week, all eyes are understandably on the quarterback matchup between Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. But don't be surprised if defense ends up playing a big part in how this game is decided, not that there won't be a fair amount of points scored.

Oakland at Minnesota, 1 p.m. on FOX

Are the Raiders the team that beat Denver in Week 1 or got blown out by home in Week 2 by Kansas City? Are the Vikings the team that dominated Atlanta in Week 1 or made too many mistakes on offense in Week 2 at Green Bay?

New York Jets at New England, 1 p.m. on CBS

It's bad enough the Jets have had to deal with Sam Darnold's mono and now are on their third starting quarterback. But to have to go to Foxboro after playing on Monday night to face a Patriots team that's won their first two games by a combined 73 points? That's borderline cruel and unusual punishment.

Detroit at Philadelphia, 1 p.m. on FOX

The Lions have yet to lose and are coming off of a hard-fought win at home over the Chargers. The Eagles lost a close one to the Falcons on Sunday night and are so banged up they couldn't even run a normal practice earlier this week. Can Detroit's retooled defense add to Carson Wentz and company's woes?

Carolina at Arizona, 4:05 p.m. on FOX

If this was vintage Cam Newton, this matchup between him and Kyler Murray would have been must-see TV. But there's a strong chance Newton won't even play and right now there's no debate which dual-threat quarterback looks better in the early going. Can Murray pick up first NFL win at home against the reeling Panthers?

New York Giants at Tampa Bay, 4:05 p.m. on FOX

The Daniel Jones era begins for the Giants. But will it matter if the defense keeps on struggling as it has been? For Tampa Bay, can Jameis Winston and company build off of last week's road win over Carolina?

Houston at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:25 p.m. on CBS

The Chargers are glad to be home after losing a tough one in Detroit. The Texans want to keep the momentum going after last week's close win at home over the Jaguars. But what everyone really wants to see is if J.J. Watt gets a chance to tackle his brother, Chargers fullback Derek.

Pittsburgh at San Francisco, 4:25 p.m. on CBS

The Steelers move forward with Mason Rudolph at quarterback hoping to avoid their first 0-3 start since 2013. The 49ers haven't started a season 3-0 since 1998. Can Pittsburgh turn things around while dealing with difficult circumstances or will San Francisco continue its early-season surge?

New Orleans at Seattle, 4:25 p.m. on CBS

It's now the Teddy Bridgewater/Taysom Hill show for the Saints, which makes its debut on the road in Seattle. The Seahawks are 2-0 after taking care of business in Pittsburgh but the defense really needs to be on its toe since there's no telling what New Orleans head coach Sean Payton has in mind for his Drew Brees-less offense.

Los Angeles Rams at Cleveland, 8:20 p.m. on NBC

The Rams are 2-0 but have yet to really put a complete game together. After starting slow on Monday night against the Jets, the Browns turned it on eventually and now get a chance to redeem themselves for Week 1's awful showing at home against the Titans.
