NFL Insider Speculates 1 Head Coach Could Soon Be Fired

Could the Denver Broncos soon move on from head coach Nathaniel Hackett?NFL insider Mike Florio is asking that same exact question this week.

The AFC West franchise is 2-5 on the season. The Broncos play an improved Jaguars team in London this weekend.

If Denver loses another game, it will be 2-6 heading into its bye week.

Florio speculates Denver's ownership, which didn't hire Hackett, could look to then make a change.

For ownership that didn’t hire Hackett, they need to ask themselves whether it makes sense to make an in-season shift to defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero. With Evero possibly in line to get head-coaching consideration elsewhere for 2023, why not give him an eight-game on-the-job audition? If they’re already thinking about parting ways with Hackett after the season, why not do it as the bye week arrives and nine games remain to be played?

If the Broncos know Nathaniel Hackett isn't their guy they might as well move on sooner than later.

Should Denver make a head coaching change soon?
