The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs will wrap up with two more games on Sunday, Jan. 23. And they have the potential to be quite the shootouts.
Both games are rematches of previous games this season. Although neither were that close in the end, they're going to be fascinating with impressive quarterback matchups. All four teams have made great claims to be the best in the conference at different points in the season, and due to the outcome of Saturday's games that saw both No. 1 seeds lose, the winner of Sunday's matchups will host next weekend's conference championship games.
So if you're wondering "What NFL games are on today?" know this: There are two scheduled for today, Sunday, Jan. 23.
Note: Games are ordered by start time. All times are ET.
NFL Playoff Games on TV Today
Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay, 3 p.m. on NBC
Tom Brady's quest for an eighth Super Bowl ring continues at home against a team that beat him by 10 points in September. This game, however, will be in Tampa, and Brady has an enormous playoff experience edge over Matthew Stafford. Can the Bucs' banged-up O-line keep Aaron Donald and the Rams' defense at bay, though?
Buffalo at Kansas City, 6:30 p.m. on CBS
Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are undoubtedly the best two young quarterbacks in the league — if not the best of any age. And they both played at the top of their game in the Wild Card Round. Many will consider this the AFC Championship Game, and it will undoubtedly be closer than the Bills' 38-20 October win.
