Ryan Tannehill's Tennessee Titans are in the driver's seat for the No. 1 seed in the AFC but four other teams have a shot at it depending on how Sunday's games go

Week 18 is new to the NFL, but one thing that remains unchanged is the practice of tracking several games at once to see if your favorite team can clinch a playoff berth or a higher seed.

Entering this final week of the regular season, the AFC East and NFC West remain competitive, and three wild-card spots are unclaimed. Beyond that, plenty of seeding remains unfinalized, including the AFC's No. 1 seed.

The NFL's tiebreaking procedures are spelled out at the bottom — although they get a little hairier with three or more teams tied — but we've spelled out what's at stake on Sunday for the 14 teams that are either already in but their seed hasn't been determined or still have a shot at punching their postseason ticket:

Arizona Cardinals

Can clinch NFC West title with:
Cardinals win and Rams loss

Baltimore Ravens

Can clinch wild card with:
Ravens win, Chargers loss, Colts loss, and Dolphins loss or tie

Buffalo Bills

Can clinch AFC East title with:
1. Bills win or
2. Patriots loss or
3. Bills tie and Patriots tie

Cincinnati Bengals

Can clinch No. 1 seed with:
1. Bengals win, Titans loss, Chiefs loss, and Patriots loss or tie or
2. Bengals win, Titans loss, Chiefs loss, and Bills win

Indianapolis Colts

Can clinch wild card with:
1. Colts win or tie or
2. Chargers loss and Ravens-Steelers tie or
3. Chargers loss, Steelers loss, and Dolphins win

Kansas City Chiefs

Can clinch No. 1 seed with:
1. Chiefs win and Titans loss or tie or
2. Chiefs tie and Titans loss

Las Vegas Raiders

Can clinch wild card with:
1. Raiders win or
2. Raiders tie and Colts loss or
3. Colts loss and Steelers loss or tie

Los Angeles Chargers

Can clinch wild card with:
Chargers win or tie

Los Angeles Rams

Can clinch NFC West with:
1. Rams win or tie or
2. Cardinals loss or tie

New England Patriots

Can clinch No. 1 seed with:
Patriots win, Bills loss or tie, Chiefs loss, and Titans loss

Can clinch AFC East with:
1. Patriots win and Bills loss or tie or
2. Patriots tie and Bills loss

New Orleans Saints

Can clinch wild card with:
Saints win and 49ers loss

Pittsburgh Steelers

Can clinch wild card with:
Steelers win, Colts loss, and Raiders-Chargers game does not tie

San Francisco 49ers

Can clinch wild card with:
1. 49ers win or tie or
2. Saints loss or tie

Tennessee Titans

Can clinch No. 1 seed with:
1. Titans win
2. Titans tie and Chiefs loss or tie or
3. Chiefs loss, Bengals loss or tie, and Patriots loss or tie or
4. Chiefs loss, Bengals loss or tie, and Bills win

NFL Tiebreakers

1. Head-to-head record.

2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in divisional games.

3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.

4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in conference games.

5. Strength of victory in all games.

6. Strength of schedule in all games.

7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.

8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.

9. Best net points in common games.

10. Best net points in all games.

11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
