Past the midpoint of the NFL regular season and there's just one undefeated team left as we enter Week 10. San Francisco is the only team with an unblemished record following New England's loss to Baltimore this past Sunday night. The 49ers have their own tough test coming as they will host the Seattle Seahawks for a critical NFC West matchup on "Monday Night Football."
But before we get to that must-see game, the Week 10 slate kicks off with another divisional contest. The Raiders host the Chargers for "Thursday Night Football" with both teams jockeying for second in the AFC West behind the Chiefs. Speaking of Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes may return to face Tennessee on the road.
The Patriots are one of six teams (Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Philadelphia, and Washington) on a bye this week, so this is the lightest slate of the season. But between the games already mentioned and other divisional matchups such as Detroit vs. Chicago, Baltimore vs. Cincinnati, and Atlanta vs. New Orleans, there are plenty of options for fans to choose from.
And while the records are nothing to brag about, the Big Apple showdown between the Giants and Jets should be fun to watch with a pair of young quarterbacks and struggling teams looking for something positive to build on. Also, the Rams will be in Pittsburgh for an intriguing matchup with the Steelers and we could be getting a potential playoff preview when Minnesota takes on Dallas on "Sunday Night Football."
