NFL Week 3 Picks for Every Game
Two weeks into the NFL season and there's already been two ties, among numerous other impressive as well as head-scratching results. With Minnesota and Green Bay playing to a 29-29 tie last week, that leaves just seven 2-0 teams — Cincinnati, Denver, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Los Angeles Rams, Miami and Tampa Bay — while the likes of Arizona, Buffalo, Detroit, Houston, New York Giants, Oakland and Seattle are already staring at an 0-2 hole.
So with more than half of the league (18 teams) sitting at 1-1 or 1-0-1 (Packers, Vikings) or 0-1-1 (Browns, Steelers) will this widespread parity continue? Fortunately, the Week 3 slate presents several intriguing matchups, including divisional contests between New Orleans and Atlanta as well as Tennessee vs. Jacksonville.
But the games that probably will attract the most attention are the battle for Los Angeles between the Chargers and Rams and the Sunday night game that pits teacher vs. pupil when Bill Belichick and New England pay a visit to Detroit to face Matt Patricia and the Lions. Can Patricia beat his former boss to get his first win as a head coach?

Other teams looking to get into the win column to keep an eye on include the Browns, who host the Jets on Thursday night, while Pittsburgh heads to Tampa Bay for what should be an entertaining "Monday Night Football" matchup. And then there are the Giants in Houston to take on the Texans. One of these teams will pick up their first win of the season... unless there's another tie.
