The NFL continues to feel the impact of the coronavirus as the Week 6 schedule looks a little bit differently than it was initially laid out. After being postponed last week, Denver at New England is scheduled for Sunday, resulting in a few other games moving and another team (Los Angeles Chargers) going on their bye earlier than originally expected.
The schedule changes also mean there's no "Thursday Night Football," as the anticipated matchup between defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City and Buffalo was moved to Monday night after the Bills' Week 5 game against the Titans was delayed until Tuesday night. Besides being 4-1, the Chiefs and Bills also are both trying to bounce back from tough losses. Kansas City fell at home to Las Vegas (40-32) while Buffalo got blitzed (42-16) by Tennessee.
Besides Broncos-Patriots, the 1 p.m. window on Sunday features a critical AFC North clash between Cleveland and Pittsburgh while undefeated Baltimore looks to add to Philadelphia's woes. The later offerings find the Jets playing the Dolphins, a game that was originally slated for Week 10 but was part of the numerous changes made following earlier postponements.
The game everyone will be watching on Sunday is when Aaron Rodgers and undefeated Green Bay head to Tampa Bay to take on Tom Brady and the inconsistent Buccaneers. On "Sunday Night Football," struggling San Francisco hosts a Los Angeles Rams team that somewhat quietly has gotten off to a 4-1 start.
Following the rescheduled Chiefs-Bills game, Arizona and Dallas get the "Monday Night Football" spotlight to close out Week 6 (barring more schedule changes). This will be Andy Dalton's first game leading the Cowboys with Dak Prescott now out for the season due to a serious ankle injury suffered in last week's win over the Giants.
