NFL Predictions: Week 6 Picks for Every Game

Athlon's experts pick every winner for every game on the Week 6 slate

Week 6 of the NFL season starts the byes and teams aren't the only ones that need a breather looking back at an extremely eventful start to the 2021 campaign. Five games in and there's only one undefeated team left and plenty of storylines abound, including the latest rash of injuries that could impact how the next few weeks, if not the rest of the season, play out.

The Week 6 action gets started on "Thursday Night Football" with Tampa Bay paying a visit to the City of Brotherly Love to play Philadelphia. The defending Super Bowl champions were in fine form on Sunday in thoroughly dominating Miami 45-17 while the Eagles came from behind to edge the Panthers in Carolina 21-18 in a game that was far from pretty.

The Sunday slate of games kicks off with the aforementioned Dolphins in London to take on England's de facto "home" team, Jacksonville. Maybe the change of scenery will help the Jaguars end their 20-game losing streak? The intriguing matchups in the 1 p.m. ET window include a pair of current AFC division leaders going head-to-head in Chargers-Ravens, the Packers and Bears renewing their historic rivalry, and Kansas City desperately trying to turn things around on the road against Washington.

The late afternoon window offers a trio of appealing games, including the undefeated Cardinals in Cleveland to face a Browns team that last week put up 42 points and didn't turn the ball over once on the road, and still lost (to the Chargers).

The "Sunday Night Football" game between Seattle and Pittsburgh looks a lot different now that Russell Wilson is out for the foreseeable future after undergoing finger surgery for an injury he sustained in the Seahawks' loss last Thursday night to the Rams. Geno Smith will lead Seattle's offense on the road against a Steelers team that's hoping that their own offensive effort in Sunday's win over Denver was a sign of things to come.

Week 6 wraps up with Buffalo in Music City to face Tennessee on "Monday Night Football." The Bills will make their second straight prime-time appearance after dominating the Chiefs 38-20 in Arrowhead this past Sunday night. Buffalo's next assignment will be trying to slow down Derrick Henry, who is once again running roughshod over everyone for the AFC South-leading Titans.
