NFL Week 9 Picks for Every Game
Week 9 marks the halfway point of the 17-week NFL regular season and features one of the lightest slate of games with six teams on bye. While the quantity may be fewer that doesn't mean that Week 9 doesn't have some quality matchups to offer.
In fact, one of the biggest games of the season to this point is on tap as the undefeated Los Angeles Rams (8-0) travel down to the Big Easy to take on the Saints. New Orleans (6-1) has won six in a row and is coming off of an impressive 30-20 road victory against Minnesota.
While that game may not be in primetime, football fans are in for a treat on Sunday night when Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady go head-to-head for just the second time in their illustrious careers. Rodgers has played the Patriots twice, but just once as the starter. That game, back on Nov. 30, 2014, saw Rodgers outduel Brady as the Packers won 26-21 in Lambeau. Green Bay lost a close one this past Sunday out in Los Angeles to the Rams while New England dispatched of Buffalo 25-6 on Monday night.
Other games on the Week 9 slate include Pittsburgh and Baltimore getting together for the second time this season as well as three other divisional tilts — Detroit at Minnesota, Tampa Bay at Carolina, and the Jets at Dolphins. Additionally, former AFC West rivals the Chargers and Seahawks are set to renew acquaintances up in the Pacific Northwest.
