It's Week 9 of the NFL season, which marks the midpoint of the schedule and the trade deadline also has passed. While there was very little activity on Tuesday, a number of big-name players have swapped teams since the offseason, a pattern that continued once the season started and over the past couple of weeks. Some of the most recent trade acquisitions (Jalen Ramsey, Emmanuel Sanders, Mohamed Sanu) have already made an impact for their new team.
As for the action on the field, Week 9 begins with the undefeated 49ers looking to improve to 8-0 against the Cardinals on "Thursday Night Football." Both of these teams made recent trades, the aforementioned Sanders for San Francisco and Arizona acquiring former Miami running back Kenyan Drake on Monday due to the injuries in their backfield.
The rest of the slate includes Houston and Jacksonville facing off in London, the Vikings in Kansas City to face the Chiefs, the Bears and Eagles staging a rematch of last season's NFC Wild Card game, Colts vs. Steelers, and the Packers out on the West Coast to play the Chargers.
