NFL World Reacts To Dolphins' Blockbuster Trade News

The NFL trade deadline has provided some shocking moves today around the league.

Continuing that trend this afternoon was the Miami Dolphins, who sent a collection of picks and running back Chase Edmonds to the Denver Broncos in exchange for pass-rusher Bradley Chubb.

The move has sparked reactions from NFL fans and insiders this Tuesday.

"This is shocking! With Waddle, TUA, Holland, B.Jones & Wilkins getting big contracts in the next couple of years, this is another big salary they’ll add. The Cap guys will be busy for the #MiamiDolphins. Helluva move," Orlando Alzugaray Jr tweeted following the trade.

One former NFL offensive lineman, though, believes the move was made due to the financial constraints Denver is facing as a result of the Russell Wilson acquisition this offseason.

"Dolphins all in while Broncos selling off after paying Wilson all that money," Geoff Schwartz said Tuesday.

Even current Broncos' players are weighing in on Denver's decision to cut ties with the former number five overall pick in 2018.

"I understand “it’s a business”. We ALL get it. We get asked to buy in and care about the organization we work/play for no matter the outcome of our situations. And this one hurts my heart like no other. Gameday won’t feel the same without my G @astronaut," Broncos' defensive lineman Dre'Mont Jones tweeted Tuesday.

Chubb's first opportunity to make a splash for the Dolphins will be against the Chicago Bears this Sunday.
