Bills Reportedly Acquiring Colts RB Nyheim Hines In Last-Minute Trade

Waiver Wire Week 2: Nyheim Hines

Nyheim Hines

We have a buzzer-beater trade at the NFL's deadline. The Buffalo Bills are trading for Colts running back Nyheim Hines.

The Bills, widely viewed as a top Super Bowl contender, have been in the market for a running back for several weeks now. Hines was an obvious target.

The talented Colts running back has been sitting behind Jonathan Taylor this season. But the Bills clearly see value and potential in Hines.

He's the newest addition to the Buffalo offense.

"And another! Colts are trading Nyheim Hines to the Buffalo Bills, sources tell ESPN," said ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Nyheim Hines has just 36 yards rushing this season, but his previous season statistics support the Bills' deal. He picked up 4.9 yards per carry in 2021.

A strong move by the Bills who fill a need at a key position. Hines should excel with the Buffalo offense.
