The Green Bay Packers need some added depth at linebacker and are getting it off the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.
The NFC North franchise is signing veteran linebacker Eric Wilson off the Saints' practice.
It's likely Wilson gets immediate playing time for the Packers, considering the team's lack of depth at the linebacker position.
"The Packers have signed LB Eric Wilson off of the Saints' practice squad. Wilson might be the first player ever to be on a team for a London game in back-to-back games," said Field Yates.
An important signing for the Packers, who are fresh off a close win over the Patriots of New England last Sunday.
Green Bay gets back to work this Sunday vs. the Giants of New York.
The Packers are second in the NFC North at 3-1.
