Patriots Fans Send Clear Message To Mac Jones During Monday Night Football

Patriots quarterback Mac Jones

It took Mac Jones and the Patriots offense just two pathetic drives to upset New England fans during Monday Night Football this evening.

Jones and the Pats started the night with two straight three-and-outs.

The Alabama product, who returns from an ankle injury tonight, has yet to have much success through the air.

It's a pretty bad showing from Jones, and Patriots fans are letting him hear it with a chorus of boos.

"Boos for the Patriots' offense after their second straight 3-and-out. Seems a bit premature," said Ben Volin.

"Crowd boos after the handoff to Stevenson on 3rd and 10. Sloppy start for the #Patriots, in particular the offensive line. Trent Brown with 3 penalties already. Less than ideal," wrote Mike Giardi.

If Pats fans keep booing Mac Jones and the offense Bill Belichick might need to consider a quarterback change.

Bailey Zappe, the rookie out of Western Kentucky, appears more than capable of running the New England offense. Right now, he might be a better option than Jones.
