Throughout the years, Peyton Manning has not only been among the league’s best quarterbacks, but he has also been among the most charitable. After recently visiting military and police personnel in Chattanooga last week, Tennessee Senator Bob Corker specifically mentioned him during a speech in the Senate.
During his speech, he stated that, “Peyton Manning has lent his name to the effort,” and that the victims’ families will certainly be taken care of appropriately. Just last Thursday, a gunman shot and killed five military servicemen. Manning went to college nearby at University of Tennessee and spends some time living in Chattanooga.
