Eagles Update DeVonta Smith Injury News vs. Ravens

DeVonta Smith's recovery from a hamstring injury could see him back and ready for Sunday's showdown in Baltimore.

The Philadelphia Eagles were able to make the most of their opportunity without DeVonta Smith in the lineup last week. They will know that their performance won't be able to sustain on the offensive end without him much longer, though.

Luckily for both sides, it appears Smith's injury won't keep him out for too long.

Smith has participated in the Eagles' last two practices despite dealing with a hamstring injury. Philadelphia has an update and has listed him as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Baltimore Ravens

While the former Heisman Trophy winner has been durable for most of his NFL career, 2024 has been a different story altogether. Smith missed two games to this point in the season - the first in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a concussion suffered the prior.

Smith had also been dealing with a hamstring injury that has deterred him from his usual production in the multiple weeks leading to him missing the Eagles' 37-20 blowout win over the Los Angeles Rams last week.

In nine games this season, Smith has caught 41 passes for 516 yards, and four touchdowns. His 12.6 yards per reception would be the lowest of his career since 2022.

While Smith has yet to make a Pro Bowl, he has been a key part of the offense's success over the years since being drafted in the first-round of the 2021 draft.

Should he return for Philadelphia's marquee matchup against the Ravens, it should give the Eagles a boost when they need it most.
