Jason Kelce's Challenge vs. Navy SEALs Has Fans Buzzing
Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce proved once again that his competitive spirit knows no bounds.
The two-time Super Bowl champion participated in an entertaining pushup contest during ESPN's Monday Night Countdown ahead of the Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams primetime game.
But this time, he wasn't just competing against anyone. Kelce was going up against three U.S. Navy SEALs.
The contest, held on the field, gave each competitor 60 seconds to complete as many push-ups as they could. Kelce, known for his strength and agility, didn't hesitate to join the veterans in the challenge.
Changing into a bright yellow Gold's Gym tank top, Kelce was ready to go. As the timer ticked down, the former NFL star pushed through as many pushups as he could, but it was clear the competition was fierce.
In the end, the Navy SEALs left Kelce trailing behind, with the top performer completing 93 pushups. The second-place finisher did 83, while the third-place finisher completed 77.
Kelce finished with 54 pushups, a respectable number, but not enough to win the challenge.
"I'm taking that," he said with a smile, acknowledging the tough competition.
Despite the outcome, Kelce showed respect for the veterans’ impressive performances.
"That's unbelievable," he said, expressing admiration for the winner’s 93 pushups.
The pushup contest quickly became a viral moment, with fans reacting to the video posted by the NFL on X. Many were quick to comment on Kelce's form and effort.
One fan pointed out, "Jason is the only one doing a full pushup. The other three are doing half-ups. Only Jason's would count on an Army Physical Fitness Test."
Others joined in, calling the contest a “battle of the fittest” between Kelce and the Navy SEALs.
One fan humorously added, “Hope they have a spare ocean nearby to catch all that sweat!”
Another fan declared, “One thing everyone can agree on is Jason Kelce is the best.”
