The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to a 1-2 start the 2022 season. That's led some to wonder if Mike Tomlin would make a change at quarterback. It doesn't look like that's the plan.
The Steelers have released their official Week 4 depth chart. Mitchell Trubisky still tops the quarterback depth chart.
It's a pretty surprising decision by Mike Tomlin. Trubisky simply isn't doing enough on the offensive attack to lead Pittsburgh to victory.
However, Tomlin still clearly feels he gives the Steelers the best chance of winning football games. Kenny Pickett will have to remain on the bench for now.
"Steelers Week 4 depth chart lists Mitch Trubisky as QB1, just as Mike Tomlin said would be the case last Thursday night," said Andrew Siciliano.
Through three games, Trubiksy is completing 60.2 percent of his throws for 569 yards and two touchdowns with one pick. The Steelers are 1-2 in those games.
Trubisky simply has to do more on the offensive end if the Steelers are going to get back on track. Pushing the ball downfield is priority No. 1 in the Pittsburgh offense moving forward.
Pickett, meanwhile, will one day be the team's starter. For now it's Trubisky's job to lose, though.
