Video: Anthony Chickillo Returns to Practice For Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo returned to practice after having domestic violence charges against him withdrawn on Wednesday.
Anthony Chickillo returned to Steelers practice on Thursday following after having domestic violence charges dropped on Wednesday. Chickillo was arrested on October 20 for a domestic dispute between he and his girlfriend, Alysha Newman.
The linebacker was on the Commissioner's Exempt List after his arrest, but was removed this morning, according to the team. Chickillo was then cleared to return to practice and was present with the team during Thursday's run-through.
Chickillo has played in three games this season, dealing with a hamstring injury before the arrest. He's accumulated only one tackle and half a sack in 2019. The Steelers also released Jayronne Elliott to make a roster spot for Chickillo.
