Predictions for Every NFL Divisional Playoff Game

Athlon's NFL experts take their best guess as to how the Divisional Round will play out

NFL Picks: Bill Belichick

With Wild Card Weekend behind us, and it certainly lived up to its billing, the top seeds are set to return the field for the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. While the matchups may not be the ones many were expecting (see last week’s picks), it doesn’t take away from the slate that’s on tap.

Take Philadelphia, for example. The No. 1-seeded Eagles are the underdog at home against the sixth-seeded Falcons. Atlanta showed why it’s the defending NFC champions in taking care of business last week on the road against Los Angeles and will look to make it two in a row on the road on Saturday. Meanwhile Philadelphia enters this game with a sizeable chip on its shoulder eager to show this team is still a threat even without injured quarterback Carson Wentz.

The nightcap on Saturday finds Tennessee in New England as the upstart Titans are looking for their second straight upset. Marcus Mariota and company have a very tough task ahead of them, however, as Bill Belichick (above, right) and Tom Brady are a tidy 17-3 in the postseason at home (25-9 overall).

Sunday features a pair of regular season rematches, as Jacksonville heads to Pittsburgh looking for a second straight win in the Steel City and Minnesota is looking for back-to-back home victories over New Orleans. The Jaguars dominated the first meeting in Week 5, beating the Steelers 30-9 as the defense picked off Ben Roethlisberger five times. The Vikings defeated the Saints 29-19 way back in Week 1 when Sam Bradford was the starting quarterback and Adrian Peterson was with New Orleans. Plenty has changed since either of these matchups occurred.

So which teams will come out on top and advance to the conference championship games? Athlon's own Rob Doster (AthlonDoster) and John Gworek (JohnGworek), along with AthlonSports.com contributor Bryan Fischer (BryanDFischer), predict the winners for every wild card game:
