Predictions for Every NFL Game in Week 17

It’s Week 17 of the NFL season and for the most part, the playoff field is fairly settled. All the spots in the AFC are claimed with just one division title and some seeding to be determined. The NFC still has two spots for the taking with four teams in the running.

Appropriately, the biggest game of the week also is the last one, as Green Bay and Detroit will meet on Sunday night to determine the NFC North. Both teams could end up making the playoffs if Washington loses to the Giants, who have already secured the No. 5 seed as the top wild card.

A Redskins win would turn the Packers-Lions showdown into an actual elimination game, while Tampa Bay still has a shot at getting in, but the Buccaneers need a lot of help and must first beat the Panthers at home. Elsewhere in the NFC, Atlanta and Seattle are battling for the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye, something the Falcons can secure with a win at home over the Saints.

In the AFC, the other first-round bye is still up for grabs, as is the West Division title between Oakland and Kansas City. The Raiders are in the driver’s seat, but must win at Denver without injured quarterback Derek Carr, while the Chiefs are in San Diego. New England can wrap up home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win at Miami, who could still end up with the No. 5 seed.

And while the rest of the games have little on the line other than draft positioning (and maybe a few jobs), there are still some intriguing matchups, such as Buffalo facing the Jets in New York in the first game since the firing of Rex Ryan.

So which teams will come out on top in every NFL game in Week 17? Athlon's own Rob Doster (AthlonDoster), John Gworek (JohnGworek), Steven Lassan (AthlonSteven), and Mark Ross (AthlonMarkR), along with AthlonSports.com contributor Bryan Fischer (BryanDFischer), predict the winners for every game this week:
