Predictions for Every NFL Game in Week 8
As we approach the halfway point of the NFL regular season, Weeks 8 and 9 present the lightest slates with six teams on bye each week. For Week 8, the byes leave us with three divisional games, a handful of cross-conference matchups and a few other interesting pairings.
Parity continues to make its presence known in the standings as well. Half of the 32 teams are either at .500 or hovering (a game above, a game below) around that mark. Philadelphia has claimed the mantle of best record from Kansas City as the Eagles have won five games in a row and the Chiefs have dropped their last two. And Cleveland and San Francisco continue to bring up the rear at 0-7.
The 49ers probably won’t get into the win column this week either, as they head to Philadelphia to take on Carson Wentz and the high-flying Eagles. The Browns will be in London to face the Vikings, who have taken over first place in the NFC North and seem ready to take full advantage of the injury to Aaron Rodgers.

Kansas City will host Denver on Monday night in a key AFC West matchup featuring a pair of teams in the midst of losing streaks. A win for the Chiefs would separate them from the rest of the division, while the Broncos are looking for some offense after managing just 10 points in their last two games, both losses, combined.
Other games on the Week 8 docket include the Cowboys and Redskins renewing acquaintances, Deshaun Watson and the Texans in Seattle to face the Seahawks, the Steelers in the Motor City to play the Lions on Sunday night, and the defending NFC champion Falcons in New York squaing off with the Jets and trying to avoid a fourth straight loss to an AFC East team.
