While Thursday night games are usually low-scoring, the two quarterbacks playing this week both crack the top three of Week 5's fantasyrankings. Tom Brady and Jameis Winston are poised to give fantasy football owners plenty of points. Teams facing the New England Patriots have had success (see Cam Newton, Week 4).
While Newton had success last week, the first three games of the season still weigh on fantasy owners' minds. He had four touchdowns in Week 4 compared to a total of three over the first three games. He's ranked No. 16 for quarterbacks for Week 5. He needs to prove it in another game before rising in the rankings.
Also, don't forget no Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins or Trevor Siemian this week because their teams are on bye.
Teams on bye: Atlanta, Denver, New Orleans, Washington
