In Week 7, a number of quarterbacks scored four or more touchdowns for their happy fantasy owners. Tom Brady threw for four touchdowns and had a rushing touchdown. Baker Mayfield threw for five touchdowns; Aaron Rodgers threw for four touchdowns. Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray and Justin Herbert all threw three touchdowns and each scored a rushing touchdown. The number of quarterbacks who have scored a touchdown on the ground seems to be higher this year than in previous years. In Week 7, eight different QBs each scored a rushing touchdown. They are hard to predict, but they certainly can increase a quarterback's value (especially those in four-point per passing touchdown leagues).
For Week 8, many quarterbacks have a tough matchup. Lamar Jackson and Ben Roethlisberger face each other's team in what should be a tough game all the way around. Their respective rankings (No. 6 and No. 16) show that they may struggle a bit this week. Another quarterback that dropped in the rankings is Carson Wentz. The Expert Consensus Rankings had him at No. 5 based on the matchup with Dallas. While it is certainly a good matchup, the fact that the Eagles still don't have pass catchers doesn't help. While Wentz might be a fill-in QB option in some leagues (no Kyler Murray, Deshaun Watson or Gardner Minshew this week), it's hard to see him as a top-five fantasy QB in Week 8.
