After missing Wednesday's practice entirely, the Los Angeles Rams saw one critical offensive player return and participate in a limited fashion today.
In a report posted to twitter Thursday afternoon by Jourdan Rodrigue, Cooper Kupp returned to practice as a limited participant today.
"Brian Allen, Van Jefferson practicing today, as is Cooper Kupp in at least a limited capacity," Rodrigue said Thursday.
Kupp missed Wednesday's practice while recovering from an ankle injury sustained near the end of the Rams' Week 8 loss to San Francisco.
The update is certainly a positive sign for his availability this Sunday in Tampa Bay.
By far the leading receiver on the Rams this season, Kupp has accumulated 686 receiving yards and five touchdowns. The second leading receiver for Los Angeles, tight end Tyler Higbee, only has 312 yards receiving on the season and zero touchdowns.
The Rams will hope Kupp continues his upward injury report trajectory Friday as Los Angeles prepares to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9.
