Ravens Announce Official Update On Tight End Mark Andrews

Flex Rankings Week 3: Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews

Despite not practicing this week ahead of Baltimore's Thursday Night Football matchup against Tampa Bay, Ravens' tight end Mark Andrews was listed as active and started tonight's game.

After his third catch of the evening, however, Andrews left the game in the second quarter with an apparent shoulder injury and is questionable to return.

"TE Mark Andrews (shoulder) return is questionable," the Ravens announced Thursday night.

Should Andrews miss the rest of the game tonight, Baltimore will be without by far their best receiving threat.

Leading the Ravens in targets, receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns this season, Andrews appeared to be building off of his Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro campaign a season ago before exiting the game tonight.

Through seven games this season, Andrews also ranks fourth-best among all NFL receivers in touchdowns (5) and sixth-best in terms of first down receptions (28).

The Ravens are hopeful Andrews is able to return tonight as Baltimore currently trails the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10-3 at halftime.
