Last week, the Steelers gave a massive contract extension to Chris Boswell, making him tied with Justin Tucker for the League's highest-paid kicker. That tie for No. 1 was short-lived.
Just moments ago, the Baltimore Ravens announced they're extending Justin Tucker for four more years. Tucker is now, once again, the highest-paid kicker in the National Football League.
"EXTENDED We’ve reached a four-year contract extension with the best to ever do it, @jtuck9," the Ravens announced.
Tucker is now back to being the highest-paid kicker in all of football. Boswell slides back to No. 2; an interesting little kicker rivalry out in the AFC North.
"#Steelers K Chris Boswell had just tied Justin Tucker for highest-paid kicker at $5 million per year. Tucker’s latest deal with the #Ravens will put him back into solo possession of that honor," said Mike Garafolo.
A well-deserved contract for the NFL's most-accurate kicker. Tucker can now solely focus on the 2022 season instead of worrying about his future contract.
The Baltimore Ravens begin the 2022 season on Sept. 11 against the New York Jets.
