Report: Here's When Deshaun Watson Will Return From His New Suspension

The NFL sure does seem to have a sense of humor. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will return from his official suspension to face a familiar foe: the Houston Texans.

The NFL and NFLPA reached an agreement on a new punishment for Watson. He'll serve an 11-game suspension this upcoming season and pay a $5 million fine to charity.

An 11-game suspension means Watson will return to action in Week 13. Believe it or not, that's the same week the Browns take on the Houston Texans. The storylines will be seemingly endless.

"The NFL and #Browns QB Deshaun Watson have struck a deal on a disciplinary settlement. As part of it, he’ll be suspended 11 games and pay $5M. Watson is slated to return in Week 13 against the #Texans," wrote Ian Rapoport.

"Deshaun Watson’s return is now slated for Week 13… against the Texans," said Field Yates.

Deshaun Watson forced his way out of Houston, refusing to play for the AFC South franchise at the end of his tenure with the team. The Texans finally said goodbye to the Clemson product and traded him to the Browns during the offseason.

The Browns, meanwhile, now have to either start backup Jacoby Brissett or trade for a more proven option, perhaps like Jimmy Garoppolo.

Watson will return in Week 13 when the Browns clash with the Texans.
