The Carolina Panthers might not be done making blockbuster trades ahead of the deadline.
The Panthers dealt Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers this Thursday night. They're receiving four draft picks, highlighted by a second-round pick in 2023, in return.
However, the Panthers might not be done making blockbuster deals. Per NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, the Panthers are also receiving trade calls on elite playmaker DJ Moore.
With that being said, Carolina views him as a "foundational piece," meaning it's going to be tough to persuade the Panthers to include him in a deal.
"The #Panthers also have received multiple trade calls on their other top playmaker, wide receiver D.J. Moore, per sources, but the team has considered Moore a foundational piece to the roster. That would make a trade tough to execute," said Jeremy Fowler.
The Panthers just dealt Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers; it's hard to imagine they'd really close to door completely on a DJ Moore trade.
Should Carolina continue cleaning house and deal Moore to an interested suitor?
The NFL's trade deadline takes place on Nov. 1.
