Reuben Foster is probably breathing a sigh of relief right now.
The 49ers linebacker was arrested back in February on domestic violence charges that the accuser now claims she made up. Elissa Ennis, Foster's former girlfriend, claimed the football player caused her bodily harm that was actually caused from a fight she engaged in with another female. Foster was not present for that altercation. Shortly after the fight Foster attempted to end the relationship, and that's when Ennis went into panic mode.
According to Foster's attorney, via the Sacramento Bee, Ennis "was extremely upset and told him if he broke up with her she would trash his career."
During Ennis' testimony she finally came clean.
49ers GM John Lynch previously stated Foster would be released if the allegations were true, but it looks like he will be able to get back to football.
