This Thursday night the Cleveland Browns are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in a pivotal AFC North battle. In the first quarter, wide receiver Amari Cooper made a big play for the Browns when he caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Jacoby Brissett.
Directly afterwards, Heisman winner and former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III sent a message to the Dallas Cowboys. In short, they must be missing Amari Cooper.
The Cowboys sent Cooper to the Browns in a bizarre trade during the offseason. The Dallas offense hasn't been nearly as effective without him, at least so far in the 2022 season.
"Man, Cowboys could use Amari Cooper right about now," said Griffin.
He's right. The Cowboys sending Amari Cooper to Cleveland still makes no sense. Maybe it will pay off in the long run, who knows?
Robert Griffin III thinks the Cowboys could still be using Cooper right now. We have to agree.
