Robert Griffin III Makes His Opinion On The Patriots' Quarterback Situation Very Clear

The New England Patriots have a quarterback predicament on their hands. Mac Jones is expected to miss some time with an ankle injury.

Bill Belichick and the Patriots, meanwhile, appear to be moving forward with the veteran Bryan Hoyer in the meantime until Jones returns.

"Bill Belichick told reporters today that if Mac Jones can’t play Sunday in Green Bay, Brian Hoyer would be the Patriots’ starting QB," said ESPN's Adam Schefter.

However, if it was Heisman winner Robert Griffin III making the quarterback situation in New England, he'd be making an entirely different decision.

Griffin is in full support of Bailey Zappe, the rookie out of Western Kentucky.

"Team Zappe," said RG3.

That's an interesting pick, especially considering Zappe has zero experience at the NFL level. Hoyer is the easy pick between the two.

With that being said, if Hoyer struggles Bill Belichick has nothing to lose by giving Zappe a shot.

The Patriots play the Packers on Sunday.
