Robert Saleh Has A Blunt Message For Those Mocking The New York Jets

Robert Saleh

The New York Jets are once again a laughingstock in the NFL world. The AFC East franchise was blown out by the Baltimore Ravens in its season opener on Sunday. It's going to be an uphill battle for Robert Saleh to get his team back on track.

The good news is Saleh hasn't lost faith just yet. In fact, he's keeping track of everyone mocking his Jets so he can fire back at them at the end of the season (which hopefully ends with some positive momentum in the Big Apple).

In other words, Saleh is keeping them "receipts" as evidence later on in the 2022 season.

"We're all taking receipts on all the people who continually mock and say that we ain't gonna do anything, I'm taking receipts," said Saleh. "And I'm going to be more than happy to share them with all of y'all when it's all said and done."

The only way Saleh and the Jets can shut the haters up is by winning football games. It's that simple. Nothing else will stop fans from laughing at the AFC East franchise.

The bad news for the Jets is they don't have any easy opponents on the schedule. They are the easy opponent for everyone else. The so-called good news is that Zach Wilson will return in a few weeks. Hopefully he provides a big spark.

The Jets battle the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
