An NFL starting quarterback reportedly returned to practice this Wednesday. That player is Jameis Winston of the New Orleans Saints.
Jameis Winston has been dealing with a back injury. But the veteran and former No. 1 overall draft pick is back at practice on Wednesday.
It's still unclear if Winston will be able to give it a go this Sunday vs. the Bengals of Cincinnati.
"Jameis Winston was back at practice. We'll see how that progresses throughout the week," said Nick Underhill.
The Saints got back on track, without Jameis Winston on the field, last Sunday in a win vs. the Seattle Seahawks. Taysom Hill stole the show.
The experienced position-less player scored four touchdowns (three on the ground and one through the air) to lead the Saints to victory.
Hill is expected to remain a focal point of the New Orleans offense. However, his role could diminish when Winston returns.
The Saints battle the Bengals on Sunday.
