Tight End Rankings Week 6: George Kittle

How the 49ers could line up for the 2021 season

The San Francisco 49ers stumbled to a 6-10 record last season, finishing last in the NFC West. Beset by injuries in 2020, the expectation is that a healthier roster can help the 49ers get back to contending not just in the division, but in the conference as a whole. The defense held up relatively well despite the injuries, but most of the attention will be on the offense as embattled quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is feeling the heat from first-round pick Trey Lance. With tight end George Kittle among the weapons to throw to, better quarterback play could give San Francisco a new dimension and make the 49ers that much tougher to beat.
