College Football Player Reportedly Dies At 18 After Getting Hit By School Bus

The San Jose State University football team received heartbreaking news this Friday morning. 

A Spartans football player has reportedly died after being struck by a school bus. 

The 18-year-old student-athlete was reportedly riding on a scooter when he was hit by the vehicle. 

"#BREAKING Per @SJSU, the victim on the lime scooter fatally struck by a school bus near campus, was a freshman football player at @SJSUFootball1 #developing," said Damian Trujillo.

Per Kyle Bonagura, the student-athlete's name is Camdan McWright. An official statement from the San Jose State football team is expected soon. 

"San Jose State football player Camdan McWright died this morning, a school spokesperson confirmed. An official statement is expected soon," said Bonagura.

Camdan McWright was a 6-foot, 190-pound running back in the 2022 class. He was the No. 127 running back in his class, per the 247Sports composite score.
