We have breaking news out of Philadelphia and Seattle. The Eagles and Seahawks have reportedly agreed on a significant trade, swapping a defensive back for a wide receiver.
According to a report, the Eagles are sending wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside to Seattle in exchange for Seahawks defensive back Ugo Amadi.
It was originally reported Seattle was going to cut Amadi ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline. Instead, the Seahawks tested the trade market one last time and struck some luck. They've landed Arcega-Whiteside in exchange for Amadi.
The Eagles took Arcega-Whiteside in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, he's been one of the disappointing picks in recent memory. The Stanford product has just 16 catches for 290 yards and one touchdown in three NFL seasons.
Amadi, meanwhile, should provide an immediate impact for the Eagles' secondary this upcoming season. He has 125 total tackles and one pick in three years. The nickel cornerback also has the capability of being a return man.
Who do you think won Monday's NFL trade between the Eagles and Seahawks?
