Kirkland, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Seattle Seahawks signed cornerback Perrish Cox on Tuesday.
Cox, who was released by San Francisco earlier this month, was added to provide secondary depth after Seattle learned that cornerback Brandon Browner is facing a one-year suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. Fellow cornerback Walter Thurmond will also be sidelined four games for a similar violation of the substance-abuse policy.
The 26-year old Cox has appeared in 40 games in three seasons for the Broncos and Niners. He has 80 tackles, two fumbles forced and an interception to his credit.
