Sean McVay Has NSFW Message For Rams' Doubters

Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles-area sports teams have a pattern of signing big-name superstars every year. Sometimes it pays off with a title (see the Lakers in 2020 and Rams in 2022). Sometimes it doesn't (see the Lakers in 2021-22).

When the Rams began building a super team ahead of the 2021-22 season, the team's doubters came out in full force. It backfired on them when the Rams won the Super Bowl back in February.

Head coach Sean McVay has a NSFW message for his team's doubters.

"Everybody's talking about, 'Hey, superteams never work,'" said McVay. "F—k you, motherf—r! It f—ing worked!"

Whoa. That's quite the bold statement from Sean McVay.

If he doesn't back it up with another impressive playoff run this upcoming season, his doubters are going to bring this back to his attention.

The Rams absolutely earned their Super Bowl victory last season. They took down Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, beat a red-hot San Francisco 49ers team in the NFC Championship and held off Joe Burrow and the Bengals in the Super Bowl.

Can the Rams win back-to-back championships? McVay certainly seems to think so.
