Week 2 of the NFL's 2022 season is almost here. It begins this Thursday night when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Rams. For the rest of the League, practices resumed today in preparation of Sunday's games.

Unfortunately, there's an unusual amount of NFL stars who missed Thursday's practices. The list includes big names like Alvin Kamara of the Saints, Michael Pittman Jr. of the Colts, D'Andre Swift of the Lions and three Buccaneers wide receivers: Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones.

It's unclear if any of the six players will be available on Sunday. If not, many familiar faces in the NFL will be missing in Week 2.

"Lots of players missing practice today. Among them: —#Lions RB D’Andre Swift —#Buccaneers WRs Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones —#Saints RB Alvin Kamara —#Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr.," said Mike Garafolo.

The Buccaneers, in particular, could be in trouble in Week 2. Hopefully Mike Evans, Julio Jones and Chris Godwin can be healthy enough in time to join Tom Brady's passing attack.

Week 2 of the NFL season commences this Thursday night when the Chiefs host the Chargers at 8:15 p.m. ET.
