The Pittsburgh Steelers got a big boost at practice this Thursday. Defensive star Minkah Fitzpatrick finally returned to training camp practice.
Fitzpatrick had been nursing a wrist injury from falling off a bike just recently. It was previously unclear how much time he was going to miss, but now we know.
The Steelers activated Fitzpatrick off the non-football injury list this Thursday. He practiced with the team today.
"Steelers activated S Minkah Fitzpatrick off the Non-Football Injury List and he returned to practice today," said ESPN's Adam Schefter.
A good day for the Steelers, to say the least. The team also signed Diontae Johnson to a two-year, $39.5 million extension this Thursday.
"It was a relief for me," Johnson said with a smile Thursday, via ESPN.com. "Just to be able to get it done, just to get back out there with my brothers is a blessing. I'm happy."
A good day in Pittsburgh.
