Everything you need to know about Super Sunday
It's the San Francisco 49ers vs. the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV (aka Super Bowl 54, or the 2020 Super Bowl) on Sunday, Feb. 2 in Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. This will be the 11th Super Bowl played in the South Florida region and the sixth at Hard Rock Stadium, which has been known by several other names since it originally opened back in 1987.
The last time the Super Bowl was hosted by Hard Rock Stadium was in 2010 when it was known as Sun Life Stadium. In Super Bowl XLIV, the New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in a matchup featuring the top two passers in NFL history, Drew Brees (who was named MVP) and Peyton Manning.
